Teel Time: Episode 22
On Episode 22, David Teel and Jonathan Heeter chat about the ACC football schedule, which was released on Wednesday.
Can Virginia Tech continue along the path to another successful season, and who will be the starting quarterback with the Hokies travel to Florida State to open the season? Virginia closed its season on a slump, but the Cavaliers still made it to a bowl. Can Bronco Mendenhall achieve similar levels of success in year three despite losing starting quarterback Kurt Benkert as well as Micah Kiser and Quin Blanding on defense.
They take a dive into the ACC basketball schedule and chat about Virginia's 6-0 start in league play. The Hokies haven't been as successful early on, however, and Teel and Heeter discuss how quickly they need a turnaround before the season gets away from them. Teel talks about his surprises and disappointments a third of the way through league play.
Finally, Teel gives his Super Bowl picks and discusses the struggles of the Pittsburgh Steelers and their coach Mike Tomlin.
